Viktoria Löwenthal is Swedish but has lived in Catolonia since 1998, when she came to Barcelona to study Social and Cultural Anthropology. She is married and has two daughters, both born in Barcelona.
When she was pregnant with her first baby, she looked for a birth preparation course that could teach her and her partner about prophylaxis as well as massage and relaxing techniques for the birth. She didn't find one. She taught herself what she wanted to know using books and the Internet, but later she decided to help others by starting the kind of course she had wanted during her pregnancy, and became a prophylaxis instructor.
She is also a doula with extensive experience helping women during and after pregnancy.
Viktoria speaks Swedish, Spanish, Catalan, and English.
