Yoga is an ancient healing art from India. It is used to realign the body and mind and bring everything back into balance. A yoga session could include stretching, core work, challenging balancing poses, restorative poses, breathwork and short meditations. It can also use a theme or intention to focus on during the class. At Well Woman, we provide a beautiful practice room and include all mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters. A private yoga class allows one of our instructors to help students of all levels and backgrounds--whether you are coming to the mat for the first time, or you are a seasoned practitioner who wants more hands on assists or more specific instructions on your alignment. Our instructors also specialize in pre-natal, post-natal and therapeutic yoga to relieve the body of aches & pains.
The Well Woman Centre is the perfect place to get deeper into your practice. All the materials are provided for you, the space is safe and inviting, and the instructors are extremely dedicated and full of energy.

When I booked into Angela's Yoga relaxation class with Thai massage I was feeling tired, stressed and suffering chronic back pain. I absolutely loved the deeply relaxing poses that enabled me not only to relax mentally and physically, but which also eased out the tension that was causing the back pain. Angela has a wonderfully calming aura and a delightful singing voice when she chants - she is such a soothing presence as she moves around the class with her healing hands. I arrived in pain, stressed and tired and simply floated out of the class at the end. And I slept like a baby - most unusual for me. I would recommend Angela's class to anyone who is looking for deep relaxation and to escape from stress. Her classes are balm for the body & soul. I rave about them to everyone.
These 6 private lessons have been absolutely fantastic. A combination of breathing, stretching and a focus on strengthening yoga poses. Catherine has a very calm manner of teaching her yoga and makes it her own. I can definitely recommend her classes as you always leave positive, relaxed and with a peaceful mind.
Catherine’s technique is both professional and personal, something I look forward to each week. I like the mix of hands on and instructional, it helps a lot for people who are not as confident.
