Sarah Barclay, Medical Journalist and Media Trainer Barcelona, Spain
I met Zoe when I was living in Barcelona and saw her both as a physiotherapist and for pilates training on many occasions. She is highly qualified, lovely to talk to, always gets great results and above all, really knows her stuff. I have recommended many other people to her, including those who, like myself, had quite serious problems with their back. She’s a natural healer as well as being great company.

When I left Zoe’s practise I felt like I had a new back! It was soooo light and relaxed! It is amazing how she can SEE the imbalances and weaknesses, and the different methods she applies to relax and balance the back.
I was impressed by all the knowledge she has and explanations she gave, it opened a whole new view of physiotherapy and health for me. And I like her concept of teaching you exercises to train the weak areas yourself, so you can become “independent” of her and any kind of therapy and improve your general state of health. Thanks, Zoe!

As a keen outdoor sportsman I put all sorts of strains and stresses on my back. Zoe not only treats the problem but also provides useful exercises to try to help me prevent the pain from returning. I highly recommend Zoe for treating sports injuries and back issues in particular!
Nick Staunton, squash player Barcelona, Spain
I went to see Zoe originally as she been recommended to me by half of the Barcelona ex pat community! I have had many injuries as a squash player. Consistently she has put the different problems right and I highly recommend anyone who needs good physio treatment!
Aidan, patient Barcelona, Spain
I can’t commend you enough on your professional approach, which frankly goes well above anyone else I know of in the city in your field.
Ruari, Runner
The treatment has made a real difference to my life as I can now run!!! I can’t thank Lucy enough for that.
Sonia, mum Barcelona, Spain
Lucy is great, she’s a physiotherapist from UK and has excellent knowledge about all the things that you might struggle with after the pregnancy (worn out pelvic floors, aching backs, lost muscles, a few more pounds etc). It’s also really nice to get out and meet other mums and you can take your baby with you, which is also very convenient.
Lance, patient USA
In the day and age of needing a different doctor for every different problem, today’s MD’s either don’t know or don’t care about how different ailments affect each other. Lucy is the first treatment professional I have visited in my 55 years that looks at and cares very much about the relationship and interaction between all aspects of the human body. She treats you as the ’whole’ rather than as independent aches and pains……. thoroughly comprehensive, including the psychological aspects of chronic pain. Terrific!
Gaz, marathon runner UK
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Lucy, she has literally been a superstar, her advice, her physio and everything has genuinely got me through that marathon so I want to thank her, and I reckon I would have struggled / maybe not even done it if it wasn’t for her help, advice and genuine care along the way, she is a proper legend!!
Danny Carroll, E-Education expert UK
I was able to travel on to Paris quite comfortably after two treatments with Lucy – thanks to her for fitting me in, it really made all the difference. Her excellent treatment got me back on my feet & I was able to walk and carry bags without too much stress – thank you Lucy!
Pascale, new mother pilates student Barcelona, Spain
I wanted to recommend Lucy’s Mama & Baby Post Natal Pilates class on Tuesday’s at the Well Woman Clinic on Calle Casp. You can take your baby. Not only do you build your core strength back up, but Lucy shows you how to hold yourself when you push your stroller, hold your baby, breastfeed etc, so you can carry building it up, and not do more damage, the rest of the week. No one cares if your baby cries and you have to stop and nurse in the middle of class. No one minds if your baby cries and you only get to do ten minutes of the exercises. I found this to be a haven, a sanctuary for mind and body in the early days. I started going with my baby when he was six weeks old. He’s now six months and we’re still going, and plan to carry on. I come all the way from Sant Cugat for this, that’s how good it is.
Djanira, mother & pilates student Barcelona, Spain
I started going to Lucy’s pilates for mums classes when my daughter was six months old. I had been feeling a bit stiff and achy but hadn’t been able to do any exercise because I didn’t want to pay for childcare as well as a class and didn’t really want to leave my baby with someone else.
The classes have really helped me eliminate all the aches and pains that I thought were inevitable when carrying a baby, breastfeeding, pushing a buggy, etc. Lucy’s background as a physio comes into its own as she is able to make sure that everyone is doing the exercises properly and as a mother herself she is able to give tons of posture and other tips which have made all the difference in allowing me to feel free and mobile again.
I definitely recommend her classes to any mums, no matter how long ago you had your child, I’m still going almost 18 months later because the exercises are so useful, there’s such a lovely vibe and we all have a good laugh.
I also come in to Barcelona every Tuesday especially for the classes and my daughter is now almost two!
